United Talent Agency (UTA) has announced its latest round of promotions, raising nearly 70 employees across 27 departments.
The global talent, entertainment and sports company has promoted 67 employees across various levels of the company. Audio, Brand Studio, Comedy Tour, Communications, Digital Talents, Sponsors & Voiceovers, Finance & Accounting, Fine Art, Gaming & eSports, HR, Information Technology, IQ, Media Rights, MediaLink, UTA Foundation, Venture & Web 3.0.
“Over the past year, UTA has accelerated our growth through new acquisitions, our client capabilities and key hiring investments,” UTA President David Kramer said in announcing the promotions. Providing opportunities for growth is a core part of our culture, and we are proud to share in this team’s success and excited to see what their next chapters bring at UTA.
According to UTA, the promoted workforce is more than 60% women and 35% identify as people of color. Additionally, 80% of those promoted to agents began their careers in the UTA agent training program.
News of the promotions comes after the company announced 120 promotions last year, as well as setting up the largest partner division in UTA’s history — increasing 26 partners by 15 divisions — in May 2022.
As the company continues to grow and grow, UTA has entered into a strategic partnership with EQT Private Equity to become UTA’s largest outside shareholder. has announced the acquisition of Curtis Brown Group, one of the UK’s largest and most popular literary and talent groups. and the acquisition of software and data analytics company MediaHound.
