Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lillis will introduce five executives in the company

Top communications agency Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lillis made several promotions on Wednesday, bolstering executive leadership in offices across the country.

Amelia McKean and Andrew Stein have been promoted to executive vice presidents, and Gabrielle Lee has been promoted to senior vice president, diversity equity inclusion and outreach and multicultural relations. Hollywood actor Brooke Bloomberg has been named senior vice president of awards and content. Additionally, the company last year welcomed Alejandro Grau as Senior Vice President to lead the company’s San Francisco office.

Founded in New York in 1992 by industry veteran Ken Sunshine, the firm has more than 250 employees in six offices, including public relations services; Acquired, owned and paid for transactions; and in-house innovation and content development. Earlier this year, partners Heather Lillis and Kelly Thomas Morgan were promoted to co-presidents.

Mackin started with the firm in 2010 in New York, focusing on international affairs. She currently manages the Washington, DC and Atlanta offices, working with clients including Microsoft, the National 4-H Council, Rotary International, and the Decolonizing Wealth Project, with a focus on company-wide integration.

Stein joined in 2010 in New York, where he helped manage the company’s operations and business development. At New York Advertising Week, he leads client strategy in the tech and media industries, including Alexis Ohanian and 776, GIPHY and Klarna, and early-stage startups and founders.

Lee joined New York in 2013 with a focus on social good and advocacy. Lee led the expansion and implementation of DEIA initiatives within the agency. Additionally, the NAACP, Women’s March, The Ms. Foundation and The New York Foundling, she has led a variety of accounts and advises clients on social justice issues.

Blumberg joined the company in 2012 and has helped build a cohesive team to develop strategies for award-winning content, distributors, filmmakers, talent, production companies, as well as lead sales of titles at international festivals. Blumberg is a Fellow of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and a volunteer at the Motion Picture Television Fund and NAMI.

Grau opened the firm’s San Francisco office in 2021 and expanded the firm’s presence in the technology, consumer, social impact and startup industries in and outside the Bay Area. It supports clients like Webex, Arrived, Supernatural, Canon and more. All kinds of products have helped them to expand awareness beyond their core audience.
