PMC has acquired the ATX TV Festival

PMC recently acquired the Life Is Beautiful festival and next month will launch LA3C, a multi-day music and culture event celebrating Los Angeles’ creativity and community.

The ATX TV founders’ deal with PMC comes as their show needs capital and a large infrastructure.

We realized that we needed to expand into digital content and grow beyond the annual festival to serve our business and audience… and ATX TV needed additional resources to achieve our larger goals. We’re very proud of everything we’ve accomplished with our team, but we’re ready for the next phase of growth and we’re excited to have Penske Media as a partner to help us achieve it together.

Gipson emphasized that he remains steadfast in his vision for ATX, providing TV innovations and fans who love to talk about his craft and discuss every aspect of this collaborative medium. ATX has always been “to create a destination where industry and consumer audiences can come together to celebrate TV as one community,” Gipson said.
