In the year Rowling, who joined NBCU in 2016, currently serves as executive vice president of strategic communications for the entertainment networks, and her title has been updated to executive vice president of communications for the television and streaming group. She told Lazarus.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and took some time to unplug and catch up with family and friends.

For the past year, we’ve been talking about the benefits and opportunities we have as we shift our thinking from individual business portfolios to a team with a shared vision and shared purpose. We are seeing the tangible benefits of this partnership every day in our business, most recently last weekend with huge success stories on NBC, Telemundo and Peacock.

As we continue to identify opportunities to bring our television and streaming portfolio closer together, I’m excited to share some changes with our communications teams, led by Chip Sullivan and Alison Rawlings.

Alison Rowling, who currently oversees strategic communications for the entertainment businesses, will take a new position leading communications for television and streaming, reporting to me. In her new role, Alison will work to help us better build and amplify the narrative of our entire portfolio, working closely with our communications leaders across the television and streaming businesses. In addition to working at a wider level for the division, Alison and her team are closely aligned with the entertainment business and directly oversee strategic communications for Peacock. Alison’s understanding and passion for business, her relationships within the company and with the press, and her experience assembling teams to navigate complex communications challenges make Alison the perfect fit for this new position.

On the content side, Chip Sullivan will expand his existing advertising responsibilities across all of our entertainment platforms, overseeing awards and talent relations for Entertainment Networks and Peacock, as well as sharing responsibility for Peacock Advertising with Shannon Willett, CMO, Peacock. Better connecting our advertising teams allows us to leverage the power of our portfolio to launch our shows and grow our audience. Chip’s deep knowledge, industry relationships and unique ability to work with our press partners across all segments of our entertainment platforms will help elevate our brands and shows and ensure our content, talent and creative teams are at their best. Possible hands.

As we continue to transform our business together, I’m excited to take these steps with our communications team to better align our portfolio and celebrate our mutual successes.
