“Murderville” is returning to Netflix with a Christmas special.
The streamer will release a new murder mystery comedy on December 15, with Will Arnett returning as Detective Terry Seattle. Jason Bateman and Maya Rudolph will be celebrity guest stars in the special, with Bateman starring opposite Arnett in “Arrested Development,” Rudolph starring alongside Arnett in the NBC series “Up All Night.” Bateman and Arnett work with Sean Hayes on the podcast “Smart Less.”
In the official statement, “Senior Detective Terry Seattle is back and this time the case is critical. Along with two famous guest stars Jason Bateman and Maya Rudolph, he’s on a mission to find out… who killed Santa? But here’s the catch: Jason Bateman and Maya Rudolph aren’t being given the script. They do not know what is about to happen to them. Together, with Terry Seattle (and many surprises), they must work their way through the case… but it will be up to the two of them to call the killer.
The teaser trailer for the special can be seen below.
