Lena White Hillman’s Grad introduces three exes, hires one.

Lena White’s production company Hillman has promoted grads Rocio Melara, Travis Eng and Silvia Carrasco to executive positions, in addition to hiring Gary Harris in a newly created director of development position.

Melara will serve as vice president of film and TV after first joining Hillman Grad in 2019 as a development executive. She began her career in commercial before working for Mad House Entertainment, Di Bonaventura Pictures and Ben Stiller’s Red Hour. Along with her current writing career, Melara served as a producer on the BET comedy series “Twenties” and executive producer on the “Twenties After Show.”

Eng has been promoted to creative executive. He joined Hillman Grad in 2020 after working in WME’s TV department. Prior to his entertainment career, Eng was a venture capital investor.

Carrasco joined the Hillman grad in 2019 as a creative executive in film and TV. She previously held positions at Paramount Television, Echo Lake Entertainment and FactoryMade Ventures. She also served as co-executive producer on “The Chi.”

Harris stepped into the Hillman grad director of development position after working in script development at Disney Freeform, where he worked on series such as “The Single Drunken Woman” and “The Trash of Everything.” He previously worked at New Form Entertainment, Apatow Productions and Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Hillman Grad, founded by Waithe, is led by CEO Rishi Rajani. Mellara, Eng, Carrasco and Harris will report to Naomi Funabashi, president of film and TV.
