Good morning!
Married “Good Morning America” co-anchors TJ Holmes and Amy Robach have called it quits after months of dating, Page Six has confirmed.
Source 6 claims on page 6 that their romance began in March when they trained together for the New York City Half Marathon.
The pair – who called it quits in August – were spotted “canoodling” at a nearby bar in May to ABC News, a source claims.
According to an employee, the couple went to great lengths to hide their affair.
“They have a very cozy relationship on air, but that’s to be expected. But behind the scenes, they were very careful to keep their affair secret. ‘GMA’ producers were shocked to hear they were having an affair.”
Representatives for Holmes and Robach did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
Meanwhile, new photos obtained by the Daily Mail show Robach and Holmes recently cozying up to each other — and at one point holding hands — on various outings in upstate New York and around the city.
Two weeks before Thanksgiving, the “GMA 3” co-stars went to a remote cabin where Holmes was seen grabbing Robach’s butt, as seen in the photos.
Insiders told the Daily Mail that ABC staff were “talking about their closeness” when they were in England for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June.
Robach, 49, blocked comments on Instagram after eagle-eyed fans noticed that she had not only released her wedding band, but also stopped posting photos of her husband, Andrew Shun. Meanwhile, Holmes’ Instagram appears to be inactive.
Sources told DMS that Robach and her husband, as well as Holmes and his wife, Marilee Fiebig, went their separate ways in August.
Robach and Holmes, 45, have been close friends for years and even went out on double dates with their now-appearing significant others and ran the NYC Half Marathon in March.
“What a day of running!!!! Beautiful weather, beautiful friends and personal bests for all 5 of us,” Robach captioned a photo that included her, Shue and Holmes.
