The “Criminal Minds” character analysis segment is back in the upcoming revival series “Criminal Minds: Evolution.”

The crime drama series follows the BAU’s elite professors as they encounter a mysterious adversary, the USub, who has used the outbreak to build a network of serial killers. As the network moves, the team must bring down the biggest threat one assassin at a time.

Joe Mantegna, Kirsten Vangses, AJ Cook, Paget Brewster, Aisha Tyler and Adam Rodriguez star as their “Criminal Minds” characters, with Zach Guilford and Josh Stewart appearing in recurring roles.

CBS’ original “Criminal Minds” series, which ran from 2005 to 2020, featured the BAU team investigating and analyzing the nation’s most dangerous serial killers and individual crimes. Matthew Gray Gubler and Daniel Henney — who played Dr. Spencer Reid and Special Agent Matt Simmons, respectively — have yet to be confirmed to appear in the reboot.

“Criminal Minds: Evolution” is produced by ABC Signature and CBS Studios. Erica Messer, who ran the original “Criminal Minds,” will serve as showrunner, writer and executive producer on the revival series. Brian Frazier, Christopher Barbour, Glenn Kershaw and Mark Gordon are executive producers, with Frazier and Barbour serving as writers and Kershaw as director.

The 10-episode first season of “Criminal Minds: Evolution” will premiere in a two-part special on Nov. 24 on Paramount Plus. After the premiere, new episodes will be released every Thursday until mid-December 15. The season returns from January 12th to February 9th.
