Paramount+ has released the first full trailer for “1923,” the upcoming spin-off series of the “Yellowstone” franchise from returning creator and executive producer Taylor Sheridan.
The limited series features a new generation of the Dutton family, which is no less violent. Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford star as husband and wife Jacob and Kara Dutton.
“Men are quick to kill with a bullet or a noose,” Dutton family matriarch Cara says in the film. But their fight is with me, and I am too slow.
Set in the vast Montana countryside, “1923” is 40 years before the birth of “Yellowstone” protagonist John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), and 40 years before the events of “1883,” the first “Yellowstone” prequel. Series.
Other series regulars include Brandon Skelnar as Spencer Dutton, Darren Mann as Jack Dutton, Michelle Randolph as Elizabeth Strafford, James Badge Dale as John Dutton Sr., Marley Shelton as Emma Dutton, Brian Geraghty as Zane Davis, Amina Nieves as Teona Rainwater, and Jerome They include Flynn as Banner Creighton. The show is being produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions.
“1923” consists of two seasons of eight episodes. The series premieres December 18 in the US and Canada on Paramount+. The pilot will air as part of a simulcast on the Paramount Network on the same day, followed by a new episode from Season 5 of “Yellowstone.”
Sheridan is developing a third spin-off series titled “6666” (pronounced “Four Six”), which has no confirmed release date yet.
